About the job:
Do you thrive when communicating with drivers, customers and service providers? Then take on the role of dispatch manager for route planning/delivery organisation (m/f/d) and take control of our deliveries.Your tasks:
- You will create route plans and ensure that our customers receive their deliveries on time and reliably. In doing so, you will optimise processes and respond flexibly to changes.
- You will be the central point of contact for our drivers and external service providers. You will coordinate, pass on information and ensure clear processes – on the phone, by email or directly on site.
- You will keep track of all deliveries and ensure that our customers are satisfied. When problems arise, you will quickly find pragmatic solutions.
- You will look after our vehicles, organise maintenance and ensure that the fleet remains operational at all times.
Your profile:
- You have completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or have comparable commercial training.
- You have initial professional experience in dispatching or would like to start right after your training.
- You enjoy planning, think proactively and can keep track of multiple parallel tours.
- You have organisational skills and a sense of responsibility, and always keep customer satisfaction in mind.
- You are experienced in using MS Office and, ideally, already have experience with planning tools or logistics software.
